this morning I was watching the runners thudding down east coast from susie's place .......

I must say the caliber of runners is higher than say, the AHM or one of those monkey ones like the milk run .....

everybody looks pretty fit and serious ... you don't have those overweight birds in spaghetti tops and virgin reeboks .....

I was already near the Big Splash area when the Kenyans started their return run (the turning point was at the Tanah Merah area). Everyone cheered them on.

Frankly speaking, I saw a few aunties with gross lovehandles wearing halter tops.

And I saw this old uncle running in..... get this.... socks and sandals.

Most corp dun bother with MS Access though it's much more user friendly a simple database... But juding for those info req above, even excel would do the job >.>

But I guess they just wan a system so that multiple people can access it while being on a web-based server...

easy. an excel or access spreadsheet uploaded to a shared folder or MS sharepoint.

But then again, maybe the office is just trying ways to spend their budget?

not an issue unless the file has to be updated by multiple users. if the updating is done only by one or two users, the rest will have no problem with the file opening as read only.
